Lapdog Productions was established in 2000 with the goal of providing creative, affordable, and effective marketing and advertising to start-ups, small businesses, and nonprofit organizations. Created by, Candace Schoner (formerly Krevansky), out of her 20-plus years’ experience in communications, Lapdog Productions is located in Charlottesville, Virginia, home of Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello.

Candace Schoner
Candace has over 20 years of experience in marketing, advertising, and public relations. Her work includes both creative and management roles for small and large corporations, including NBC, PBS Television, St. John’s University, and Chandler, Franklin & O’Bryan. She has written, produced and directed numerous television commercials, documentaries and corporate videos.
She is a published author and photo journalist with an extensive background in print and broadcast journalism. Early in her career, she served as a producer, videotape editor, writer, and assignment editor for WTTG News in Washington, D.C. At St. John’s University, Candace served as Assistant Director for the University’s Instructional Television Department.

Christian Daniels, Creative Director
Christian studied Graphic Design at The Parsons New School for Design in New York City's Greenwich Village and received her BA in Photojournalism from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
Over the past several years, Christian has been living and working in New York as a graphic artist and photographer. She recently left her position at the advertising agency Merkley & Partners in Soho, New York City to move to Charlottesville and has assumed the position of Creative Director for Lapdog Productions. Her creativity comes from a passion to exceed her client's vision and provide a beautifully executed solution.
Patrick Moctezuma, Senior Developer
Our senior web developer is Patrick Moctezuma, an IT professional with 15 years of web and database development, and integrated computer technology solutions. Working in all current web languages: DHTML, CSS, Javascript, ASP, VBscript, and PHP, Patrick specializes in creating custom websites that are attractive, robust, and easy-to-navigate. Whether you’re looking for an information-only website, or a more complex structure with database, shopping cart, and bells or whistle, Patrick will expertly shepherd your project from beginning to end.
